So what you're saying is that all the people who served the country during war, but without being sent to the theater of war, should just feel ashamed about their service, and not feel that they had served their country? An interesting opinion, but not one shared by all, I believe. Of course, it's a cushier job to serve stateside. Reagan, as you may not know, enlisted to be sent overseas, but was rejected because of his eyesight.

I don't, personally, know anyone who saw combat even during VietNam, but I know a lot of people who were drafted. They are conscious of their good fortune in not seeing combat, but they do think they served their country, too.

Yes, you really put your foot in your mouth that time.

A careful reading makes it obvious that Reagan never said that he had served the war in Europe, but rather you and Wills desired that meaning so you supplied it. The obvious intent - to defame.

Do you purposely read with such an absence of sensitivity to even unsubtle nuances? Foreign though it is to you, I assure you that people who can read above an elementary level can easily tell the difference. If you were able to tell the difference you would be both shameless and disgusting. And purposefully vile in compounding wretched lies with fulminating excess.

But you obviously can't, making your hopeless blather merely pitiful. You earn your "E" for "effort". So please stop digging, you are so well buried that even the stench is as undetectable as your attempts at rational argument.
