iTurf Gains 300,000 Newsletter Subscriptions in First Six Weeks of Premier Provider Agreement with MSN Hotmail iTurf Offers Newsletter Subscriptions in Teens/Young Adult Category NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1999-- iTurf Inc. (NASDAQ: TURF - news), a network provider of leading Internet sites for Generation Y, announced today preliminary results of the company's advertising agreement with MSN's Hotmail WebCourier service. This recent agreement positions iTurf as the premier provider within MSN Hotmail's Teens/Young Adult category. Under the terms of the agreement, new and existing MSN Hotmail customers can subscribe to iTurf's newsletter through MSN Hotmail WebCourier service. The iTurf newsletter contains a combination of unique editorial content as well as content and commerce offerings culled from the award-winning Web sites in the iTurf network including gURL.com, OnTap.com, dELiAs.com, droog.com, discountdomain.com and TSISoccer.com. Customers who sign up for the free newsletter are introduced to the iTurf network of sites through content and e-commerce offerings. The agreement with MSN Hotmail is the first branded marketing initiative for iTurf leading up to the network launch.
