Yesterday while researching on this issue, I found a website that had clips of training films, some from Reagan's station. I looked at a couple, they were used to teach pilots how to fly planes, and they were marked classified, which, under the circumstances, shouldn't be surprising.

Without taking the time to research it again, I did notice that the commanding officer who commended Reagan was in Air Force Intelligence, which leads to the inference that Reagan was, too, although I admit to abysmal ignorance of military heirarchy. It stands to reason that if Reagan's CO was in Intelligence, Reagan was, but that could be totally unwarranted.

That won't confirm or deny that he saw films of the liberation of concentration camps.

Yes, it is obvious why you refuse to answer the question. Reagan's statement about going home and sleeping with his wife came from his autobiography where he detailed what he did during the war.

Therefore there was no attempt to deceive anyone. The only deceivers are you and Wills.

btw, Cannon detailed that Reagan, had he not volunteered for the Reserve before the war, would never have been called for active duty because of his eyesight.

Ignoring the personal activities of the "Fabulous" Ronald Reagan, you are way naive if you believe all intelligence resources and functions are listed under an intelligence heading.

The key questions are RR's MOS -- military occupational specialty, the Corps in which he was commissioned, and the position titles to which he was posted. One can fairly say he was in "intelligence" if he qualified by the unit (Intelligence Section of a battalion or larger), qualified by training (MOS), occupied an intelligence position. Many non-intelligence types served in Reconnaisance Units (as Neocon pointed) and were simply infantrymen, or supply, or some other military service.
RR's acting, voice overs, and film editing hardly qualify as intelligence (more Operations & Training). But that does not reflect on his military services. They also serve who only stand and wait.
