hey there's always tomorrow - I'm still up a buck on each deal, but that could change. I'll be paying close attention.

I am pretty disappointed with the "guidance" we all got from MSD only a week ago, even though I was pretty skeptical about their claims of no impact from Taiwan. The comments were not just bullish, they were over the top - 50% market share someday soon, etc.

I am starting to wonder if they are any better than the CPQ management that screwed me earlier this year, after this performance...

I is, therefore, I deserve to be cremated. May I request someone courageous enough to deliver my eulogy early tomorrow A.M., preferably before the CPI report is released?

Dr. Lee, before anything else, I want to express my gratitude for sharing Padinha's critique in Animal Crackers in the Wing Nuts' Soup. The economists were vague and unresolved on two things, I believe. For instance:

"Wealth effect" -- the process of amassing wealth by buying high and selling low.

"Phillips Curve" -- misc. items other than sand and surf at the beach.

I would appreciate it if you can help redefine these consequential economic terms. :)

Like you always say, cheers!
