Hi Tom,

Just checking in.. Needless to say like everyone and their dog I got a "buy" signal late yesterday. Still in effect..

Another thing that seems to be work often enough, is Gary Smith's 2:00 pm to 2:40 pm est . "death zone" as he called it.. A strong sell off between those times in a early strong up day like today.. So I never initiate a "continuation long " during those times. Lately the time has stretched to about 5' after bond closing.. We will see.

Persusing the thread, and seeing Pat's problem is one reason I didn't try to enter.. I get my emotional energy directed wrong and don't have enough to direct my real money.. Although I am testing a quick and simple intraday system right now that is purely mechanical that would be good for the contest..

good luck all.. coug

Yeah, well I've decided to get serious.

Not so much about the contest, more about the real implications of this. I can't make these mistakes. I'm trying to get the kinks out of this stuff and having this silly stuff happen is fouling up my results.

As for having a major screw up day, being too disgusted to manage the last trade cost me around $30K in the contest, roughly. So yes we are in the same boat.
