I use Q-Charts and Interquote. On Q-charts the symbol is QC:PUTCALL.OEX or QC:PUTCALL. This symbol can be charted in real time. I prefer the OEX version as it is more reflective of the leadership stocks. I would bet that you can go to the lookup symbol menu for your quote provider and find it under index symbols. BTW, J6P (an abbreviation I picked up on SI is "Joe Six Pack" (another name for the average investor). I agree that using the P/C ratio alone as an indicator could be very dangerous. Who knows which way this thing goes from here. One thing is for sure... there is nothing we can do about it one way or another <g>. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.
