Joel,

<< Hopefully the volatility won't be quite like CSCO's couple of 40% drops >>

Boy do I miss those. Caught em every year. If JDSU does it I still have some cash. I'm maxed out on Q and CSCO but not JDSU.

<< I wouldn't be surprised to see a pullback after earnings >>

Me either. Same with Q.

<< I like this one along with Q for the next 3 to 5 years plus >>

Me too.

<< SDLI, HLIT, ETEK and ORTL >>

Have not had much time to research these. Still lurking and learning. I also not much into the basket approach.

<< strategy to be considered >>

No question, but not enough time for me (10 years older than thee), and too many choices <g>.

Squire J, would you care to bring us up to date on visx? It peaked in July, and has been retracing for quite a while. Can you explain why and crystal ball it for us?

uf

Joel, please add PMCS and CNXT to your list. Then you cover the ATM and Broadband comm-ic waterfront. BRCM should no doubt be included as a broadband plat. They are all very hot with good upside surprises.
