Squirrel

I had a coworker who told me his story of a pet squirrel.

One day coming home and entering the driveway he sees his wife with a squirrel in her hands and crying. She says the squirrel got hit by a car and needs to go to the vet right away.

The squirrel had become a family pet. When they moved into the area this squirrel would come up to the sliding doors and they would feed it. Eventually it became a household pet. It would come when called and always was found on their daughters shoulder etc. A lot of the time the squirrel had the run of the house without causing any damage.

Well, driving off the to vet his wife in tears and how are they going to explain to their daughter the squirrel getting hit. The vet did a great job on fixing up the squirrel and only charged about $350.

Upon return to home they enter the driveway with the squirrel in his wife's lap still knocked out from drugs etc. Immediately, they run into their daughter in the driveway waiting for them WITH A PET SQUIRREL ON HER SHOULDER.

That was really cute and funny, LOL.
Is the story from your own experience?
