Yes, I am expecting volatility but the end result will be to the upside. I think you misunderstood me. The floor for the past few weeks has been the lower 60s. I don't think we re-visit those prices after tomorrow. I believe a new floor in the mid to upper 70s will be created and a trading range of, say, 75-95 will be created until Comdex. But, a 20 pt range is volatility.

But, i have also said that the risk over the past 4 weeks has been on the shorts as I didn't see any more bad news coming out to help them. Once we break out of our current range and get above 75, I believe the risk will be even (i.e., the risk to longs of the stock going down because of another adverse official press release will be the same as the risk to the shorts of the stock going up due to a a successful launch at Comdex).

Re: why would you expect so much upside this week...

Rambus PCs shipping, after all this time, has got to give the stock a considerable boost - I expect it to be temporary(you all know my take on its price/performance :-), but to finally have some machines available for sale! How could it not lift the stock?

Dan
