I really don't get something... why is it so bad that an elderly person has to sell their home and accept a million dollar windfall and retire out of the area? Do you have this problem in Mass? I don't dislike little old ladies, I only dislike the characterization of the elderly as economically disadvantaged which they are not....

You both missed the point. She wasn't smart enough to buy when she had a chance and now she's a bitter renter on the outside and looking in.

People are too rich. It's not fair. We need programs to bring them down to my level.

We are witnessing the stark reality of the politics of envy.
