A few of my previous posts may be of use during the period when the news was breaking and the early aftermath. QWST was a long term stock for me and I did very well with it but it has been on probation since 14 June. I owned both QWST and WCOM at the time, then only WCOM. Today I added to my WCOM holdings by buying FON. Hope my thinking three/four months ago provides some insight today.

I think that the USW announcement and the collar on the stock made upside beyond the collar very unlikely. Dead money until this merger goes thru. After that? Debateable.
