Has anyone else had a problem daytrading the last two days. I can't seem to find a trend. I worked my butt off again today-- no major moves. My system is not worth a flip in a trendless market. I did 16 round turns to make 22.5 points and gave a bunch of it back in commissions. Fortunately I'm still paper trading in real time and keeping a log. Is this trendless stuff normal for the S&P's? I hope not. It's like eating ribs. You've got to do a lot of work to get a mouthfull of meat! <g> Somebody tell me this is not the norm. Yesterday's range was 12.25 and today's was 15.5 (although not counting the early sprint to the high, effectively was 9 points). When I did my early number crunching on the S&P's, the daily range over the last 90 days was an average of 23 points. If the narrow range days are normal, I need to rethink my strategy. Thanks for the help.

Matt
