DESC: Provide Medical Transcription Services for the Ralph H.
Johnson Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center located
in Charleston, South Carolina. It is expected to be a one year
contract with option years available. Contractor will be required
to supply the compatible Lanier equipment to transcribe directly
into the Medical Center's computer system. Transcription will
be miscellaneous Radiology and Laboratory reports, memorandums,
etc. requiring extensive knowledge of medical terminology and
accuracy. Dictators are physicians, some foreign-trained and
turn around times are critical. Bid packages will be available
on November 15, 1999 in the above geographic location and may
be requested in writing at the above address or by facsimile
