Yo, Markie; what's to get excited about ROV? It's traded between 15 and 30 for the past 5 years. It's obviously not going anywhere. And one of your other favorite stocks (MIKL) has traded between 16.69 & 30 over the past year. Do you deliberately look for stocks that are range-bound? Or do you prefer companies like LVCI that have lost 75% of their market value this year? And ya know, you never have answered my question that I've asked several times before-have your ever had the courage to short VLNC?

Point is that you made another mistake.

ROV does not have a GM greater than 50%. This is "verifiable". You told me to verify it, and I did. You were WRONG.

This is the latest in a series of mistakes and lies by you on this thread.

You say:" There is no way you could know that I have lost "over 50% of [my] investment in VLNC" simply because I did not."

You told us you owned the stock on their initial commercialization try, and then you implied you sold after the 10K in June of 98. This was the first day you appeared on this thread, preaching doom and gloom. I have asked you repeatedly about your interest in Valence, and you won't reveal how much you lost in this stock. But the stock was above 10 prior to the bad news on the first commercialization try. And it traded about 5 the morning after your first posts on this thread. So it is a reasonable assumption that you lost about 50% of your investment over several years. Failing any other information, that is all we can say. If you would clarify how much you lost on Valence, we wouldn't have to guess!

You say: "Now, about your paper profit, you represent you have approx. 400,000 shares of VLNC. VLNC has severely underperformed all of the market benchmarks for the past year, two year period, three year period and longer. Your investment in VLNC demonstrates poor
judgement. You could have done substantially better with the money you had tied up in VLNC. Does this tell you anything? It tells me plenty."

Regarding my own investment return on Valence. When we first crossed posts in June of 98, you were selling, and I was beginning my purchasing in volume. I had about 30,000 shares at the time. I added a lot of shares last August at an average price of 4.00. By last September, I had about 125,000. Then this August through last Thursday, I added 225,000, for a total of 356,000 shares. My average cost is around 5.00, so the percentage gain is about 55% at today's close. If you run an annualized ROR calculation, you will see the annualized ROR on the investment so far is in excess of 150%. This is because two thirds of the shares were bought in the last three months, and have appreciated sharply. It is true that my overall portfolio is up quite a bit more than 150% annual ROR over this time period, so VLNC is underperforming my other picks, at least so far, using ROR as a measure. I have a strong reason to believe that will change over the next few months, as Valence's future becomes more apparent.

Please note that I have revealed my changes in position quite clearly in the posts on this thread. It is verifiable if you check my posts.

I have been more than open with you from the first, sharing my analysis and information. You, OTOH, have derided me and others, repeatedly lied about verifiable factual information, and treated me with contempt and name calling.

You say: "Your pettiness gives you away."

I think everyone on the thread can really see who is the petty one. You are the one they are choosing to IGNORE. I am not responsible for that, you are.
