What I suppose I find interesting is the fact that they have suddenly convinced this board that it is possible to charge for secure e-mail...even if it only represents 128 bit encryption. And just think, your message will be available for 30 days on the web site. So you (or maybe your friends or competition) will have plenty of time to retrieve it using your key. Sounds pretty secure so far!

Dave may have better information on this, but it certainly seems to serve as a much smaller challenge to prying eyes than would a 1024 encryption code.

My real point here is that e-mail in a secure format is not going to be free for businesses, where it obviously has the most applications. Many thing on the web are free early on in an attempt to gain validity, and then soon begin to cost money.
