I disagree about furniture.com. Having purchased furniture direct from north carolina in the past from catalgues, I was amazed at the incredible price savings, the convenience and the terrific customer service. I was sure there would a sacrifice to go along with the price savings, but there wasn't. It did, however, take a great deal of legwork to find the manufacturer, make the connections and get the catalogue. Furniture.com eliminates the legwork. There is already a large coterie of people who've come to know about this, and there will certainly be a much larger group as it's popularity grows.

I can't see any GCBKE symbol, so maybe Nov 125's was not offered.

This week is quite good since we came out from that very long consolidation period. The 100's battle is over, next is the 125's, then new highs. The only question is which comes first, new highs or the stupid y2k correction.

Hi Scarecrow,

IMO, both of those IPO's will be ok (furniture.com or mothernature.com). I own a business and have purchased furniture from mail order catalogs many times, why not a catalog on the net? The catalog needs to be good. Net Sales will overtake mail order and will improve when broadband becomes more prevalent. Catalogs need to be very detailed so that you can see clearly what you are getting, (go ATHM ). If the site can provide and show good quality at a reasonable price it MAY be a winner. I expect that Mothernature.com also can be great in the positive feedback loop DW is constructing. Search for some related topic on AltaVista and an ad for Mothernature will pop up.

Regards,

Wingman
