Sir: your chances in getting IPO depend only on your activity. Platinum account that is not recently active will hurt more than benefit, because it stands in competition with other platinums that are much more active you are better off with regular account that is active, because you will be standing against other regular accounts. No matter how many accounts you have, it will all follow the name of the active account...

Randomly email these folks @ etrade and complain! Christos M. Cotsakos@etrade.com , Chmn./CEO Kathy Levinson@etrade.com , Pres./COO Leonard C. Purkis@etrade.com , CFO T.A. Bevilacqua@etrade.com , Secy. You may have to use any combination to get a correct address. But tell them we all will leave e*trade unless they go back to first come first served or something better because this is a big joke trying to get IPO's!
