tejek, I hadn't heard that, thanks for letting me know. Could you direct me to a location where I could buy an AMD based computer that contains 'THE FASTEST CHIP IN ALL THE LAND'?

Ted, <the Athlon is THE FASTEST CHIP IN ALL THE LAND!!!>

Is this a quiet admission that Athlon wasn't the "fastest chip in all the land" before the 750 MHz release?

By the way, how come the "fastest chip in all the land" still lags behind a "slower" Pentium III 733 MHz in Anand's gaming benchmarks?

... the Athlon is THE FASTEST CHIP IN ALL THE LAND!!!

I hope you are defining "the land" as the Wintel landscape, not the entire PC arena. Surely, you're not going to pit the Athlon against a G4!
