I am looking at the portfolio and this does not explain the problem. I correspond in real time with other traders who also use e-sginal and a couple had this same issue today.

The key sentence you use is "the portfolio windows are set up (by default) to use the bid as the last price." I know this--this is how I want it--but it is exactly what did NOT happen.

IMAN was BID at 34 1/2 ask 34 7/8 and the LAST on the protfolio screen was 36 1/2.

This was not an isolated instance. High, low, bid, ask, etc. have either been out of sync or have disagreed with level 2, etc. for weeks down. it happens intermittenly.

The hard thing is it distorts trading. My eye glances at last and sees 36 1/2 and thinks one thing and then bid/ask shows another.

What do we do now?

Jim,

During the day I adjusted the parameters on an intraday chart window...I usually toggle between seeing 1 or 2 days of data...

Lo and behold, there were options for a whole 10 days worth in the pull down menu...now it seems to have disappeared...

What happened?

Paul
