OT----> Mike, Nice to have you around. I remember your posts from the Asian thread when it was worth reading. Always informative. I wonder if you would answer an undoubtedly naive question. Or at least give a hint of an answer, since undoubtedly it can't be intelligably answered in a few sentences. When these guys are spending that kind of money on last mile stuff, what exactly are they spending on? On cable? On software? Switches? And what companies do you think are reasonable to look at (say, three of them)? Do you know anything about Netro, a speculative favorite of one of our regulars here (a former regular, anyway, he has lost interest in drive stocks lately)? I know, I know, go to the last mile thread. A lot of stuff on that thread that I don't really understand. If you have any beginner's links to look at, they would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Sam
