Hello, rudedog, traders and investors are excited about:

VA LINUX It was up 700% on first day of trading.

I believe the symbol is LNUX!

[LINUX as a PC operating system is pretty much for Unix-savvy users who are comfortable using Unix admin tools and also don't use the PC for typical desktop productivity... ]

Mr. Mephisto would agree. He liked Star LINUX but he worried about security. He is very happy with Solaris, which he installed in September. Solaris has NOT crashed since its installation.

Best wishes,

Mephisto

rudedog, I forgot to add that Mr. Mephisto would never consider MSFT 95 productive since it crashed frequently.
The kindest thing that I have heard him say about Mr. Gates recently is mostly printable, "Mr. Gates should be put in
j--l because MSFT turns out crap for software.

Windows has security problems as well. Mr. Mephisto had personal experience with that problem.
