Hi Fuzzymath,

Welcome to the AIM Bus. Glad to see you brought your files. Think you and Tom might have a few common notes to compare. I believe his files date back to 1971. Like Socal said, you guys got underwear older than me. By the way where is Socal? We deserve some holiday humor.

As For Credentials, at the time of my posting your profile was not up. But unlike the rest of the welcomers I knew you would get it up sooner than later.

I asked you to give us a look because I believe there maybe some correlation with what you are doing and what we are trying to accomplish. One of AIM's primary benefits is that it keeps inventory in the warehouse. It directs us to buy low and sell high. All mathematical.

I found your website to be quite interesting and I am sure all the AIMer's will pay it a visit. I think you will find the BB to be humble yet thought provoking.

Sincere Welcome,
Keith in Recruiting

PS - Go to Tom's Site (Old Cat on the Header) and view the history. execpc.com

Might even want to register for AIM 2000...

Hi fuzzymath, welcome to the AIM board and thanks for your interesting post. The chart does seem to indicate that Nov. to Jan. is a better time to be invested.

By the way, all my models say today was a pivotal day - and that now both bonds and stocks are quite vulnerable to further near-term selling.

I am not sure I understand; when you say 'pivotal day', what do you mean? How do the models work and what did they indicate?

Thanks, Jack

Hi FM and Welcome, It would be fun to try to correlate my buys and sells with your seasonality chart. Memory tells me that I've done my heaviest buying in Sept/Oct and that selling has occured in the winter months. However, it would take some time with the trade tickets to get anything more accurate than a gut feel.

Thanks for dropping by. From your graph, it looks like we should just take January through August off, buy all our favorites in Sept and tell the following January! :-) Seven months off per year sounds pretty good!

Best regards, Tom
