TA,

Unfortunately, I don't see this as positive news considering
that most of the current interest in NN is based upon a
possible takeover.

I don't see this as posturing by NN due to the fact they are
going to hold another ALL EMPLOYEE meeting tomorrow.

$25 looks better and better.

I knew it! The sale is just a ruse. Well, if the stock doesn't tank today then we've got some hope, otherwise it's all over for another quarter or so!

Potentially very bad news! May get out, but we'll wait and see.

I guess this will be the dip to buy (Friday close) if you believe that NN can turn itself around. Of course, nobody on the street believes they can, so this is dead money for at least 3 quarters, after the dip. Does anyone on this thread believe it, and if so, why? Don't directors of NN in Canada have same legal exposure as those in USA to fiduciary incompetence? I have always wondered about the way that both TM and NN own shares in some of these 'affiliates', like CrossKeys. Maybe someone should look into these relationships in more detail to see if any of the other directors do this.

Sure wish I were short here, not long. Guess my prediction about ALA is wrong as NN still doesn't get it.

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Lots of interesting dialog today:

FLYNN: We're not talking to anybody
right now."

In response to this (I think) someone posted that they were
off in the direction of CS because at least their CEO was not a liar! Don't count on it! In these matters, just about everybody is capable of shading the truth.

For example, if at the very moment that Flynn made the comment above they were not talking to anybody about acquisition---(at that very moment)--he was telling the truth.

You don't really expect him to say:

"We are talking to a few people. Shitty bids so far. Terry probably won't take any of them--and if he does, I am toast,
probably"

do you?

I expect NN will be acquired. But who knows, really, until it happens, or doesn't happen. In the meantime, the fact that there is a new CEO, who is doing things that on the surfact seem positive is fine with me.

And being down 7/8 on a volume of 222k shares does not seem to me to be a run for the exits.

Best wishes,
Jim
