Dale, I'm posting the followinng paragraph everyday until Y2K. Tick, tick, tick... Maybe that'll force Cook to announce the deal with Bank of Anastacia. Richie, can you pass the message to Cook? Regards, Tom But the company hasn't signed up any financial institutions for ZixCharge yet. Mr. Cook says CustomTracks has had talks with several companies, including American Express, Bank of America, Bank One's First USA credit-card unit,and Citibank. While Mr. Cook is optimistic the company will land contracts in thenext few months, he offers some frank advice to investors. "If we don't get some financial institutions signed up by the end of the year, sell your stock," says Mr. Cook. He says he figures if the company can't sign any by January, it would be a sign that financial institutions don't want the product.

My, My, My, Dale...can't you do two things at once? I don't think he's playing the stock, but waiting for the most opportune time to make the press releases. Do you think that a good marketing strategy would be to bring the news when it would most likely be lost in the holidays? Or do you believe it would be better for the company to bring it when it could get the most exposure and help to add to the momentum the firm is trying to build for these best of breed products? Of course, if it traps the shorts in the mean time, the stock shoots up, and ZIXI receives even more publicity due to the stock action, well...so be it. But the surprise is coming. And you're right. In hindsight, it won't have been a surprise at all. Now where are all of those longs who plan on selling?? I know where the shorts are who would like to sell. And so does DC. But where are the longs who these popular SI personalities believe will sell?? Enjoy the ride!!
