This all gets even better when you consider what Visa actually is. It's not so much a corporation per se as it is an association of a group of corporations, specifically "21,000 member financial institutions around the globe" (per the Visa website), each of which is a part owner of the institution we know as Visa. Just for example, Bank of America, one of the institutions Zixit was supposed to be courting, is essentially the institution that founded Visa (some of you may remember when Visa used to be "Bankamericard").

So effectively, Zixit has been snubbed by the financial industry and is turning around and suing the lot of them.

How's that for perspective?

Have a safe and happy New Year celebration everyone!

Kevin

Dale, apparently it was leaked out this morning that there'd be a PR after the close. It drove the stock up sharply from 32 to close at near 40. Cook's gonna do it it again and the shorts would be screwed they thought. Those buyers must be in shock now.

Regards,

Tom
