And for those who asked, John Schmitz has not paid his $100,000 fine nor his $20,000 restitution. Interest is accruing.

Oh, my. He hasn't paid for his crimes? So, what could the NASD do to secure payment? Do they pursue individuals like this and slap liens on them? And this woman, she hasn't recovered any of her monies, either? Is there a statute of limitations?

PatP, I was given permission to dig into Spencer's world to see if a link between his business dealings or personal relationships connect him to the PABN/PRWT circle of friends and family.

"At the risk of boring the others on this thread,.."

Surely, you jest?! How much more boring could it get than Ms B's constant jabberings and cut and paste jobs from that other board in order to keep this one alive....for whatever perverted reason she may have at any given moment. There were a few days there a couple of weeks ago, when I thought she was acting like their PR agent! And, I must admit, I did rather enjoy her latest admission to being an idiot! I think she should cut and paste THAT one to the PABN news only thread as well.

I finally removed my bookmark from the RB PABN thread knowing that any good skirmishes over there would brought over here...at least partially and rehashed here. I now think it is about time to pull the plug on this one as well as it (she) is getting quite boring, despite your rare educational contributions. I wouldn't worry too much about the "others" on this thread.....Colleen has pretty much taken care of them.

Bill

The way I read the latest PR, Ray Gamble is in charge of this new venture, OurEvillage. I don't recall anything ever being presented on his background and training, have you ever looked at Ray? He's been around since day one.

Looks like PCModem has trouble with the term criminal infraction. I am amused by his insistence that you are somehow misusing the phrase. Be assured that the SEC knows what a "criminal infraction" is. It is neither a misnomer nor a redundancy.

he continues to be troubled and confused....

I make no judgment of his character at this time, not enough facts in evidence and everything that has been presented so far is onesided. No one knows his side of the story. If he did exactly what the NASD's findings state, then that is horrible, in fact it sounds to me like a crime, one punishable by jail time. But that's not how it was treated. I'm sure you can understand my doubts based on that one oddity alone. In these matters a rush to judgment, based on a onesided presentation of the story is ill-advised, I'm sure you agree. If he did all that then why is he not in jail? I think, if he is guilty of committing a crime, then the victim should sue the NASD for not pursuing it as the crime it is. Quite frankly their failure to treat it as a crime leaves me scratching my head as I'm sure it does all those who read about it. Fines are a source income for the NASD, maybe there's an explanation for their actions in that fact. If you can't prove a crime, then declare a finding and impose a fine. Makes sense to me.

or is he really?
