Hi Keith, Does your former disciple have an alternative plan to replace AIM, or just go back to buynhold? Broker management? Mutual funds?

The reference to ending poor, is that because of stock picking or ??

Just curious,
Tom

Hi,
Actually he was right.
This is sort of what I have been saying all along. The poor guy never had a chance to see AIM (by the book) in operation. IMO if you are trying to introduce AIM to people you follow the book. If at some time in the future they find it is not spicy enough for them you introduce some of the modifications. About the only modification to begin with, and it should be introduced with an explanation is the varying Startup Cash Reserve. AIM by the book updated once a month takes 15 minutes a month or less. It works that way too. The decision to spend more time than that should come from the individual.
Happy New Year to all!
Bernie

Hi Keith
The simplest solution to monthly updates is hitting the OK button 4 times on the update screen. This shouldn't take more than a minute, and will bring him up to date on a monthly basis. The only effect he'll see is that the graphs will move in steps.

I'd be interested in taking a poll of the Newport users if they feel a weekly or monthly update is the way to go. Any comments?

Bob
