Well a .25 increase seems assured, a .50 possible, and further increases on the way. Anyway, last week showed us how nervous this market can get, and I want some cash for safety/opportunity, should the hike be .50

"Certainly the market is showing concerns about interest rates, but Mr Greenspan has to walk a very tight line. " The Greenman will try to walk the tight line. However, make no mistake, he will slow the economy, tight line or not. That means corporate revenues and earnings will be slowed. It will happen. And, the question remains: at what point will the restrictions in money supply growth and increases in rates take a bite out of the over-valued mo mo stocks? Ciao, David Todtman
