Jon,

Take a look at what I put together earlier when I tried to estimate potential earning for the past quarter...

Message 12480343

I found that GNET's earnings were derived from

income from operations = $1,660,097
income from interest = $3,659,449
total = $5,319,537

which equates to 31% of the earnings was from operations...

# of shares used to calculate EPS was 46,037,194 (different from above..so we'll use this one instead since this would represent a worse case scenerio)...

BTW...that equates to .115548 cents or .12 rounded up. (last quarter's reported earnings)

I'm hoping they've had a 51% increase in earnings from operations...which equates to

1,660,097 + (1,660,097 x .51) = 2,506,746.47

earnings from interest was 3.659.449 so I upped that to 3,750,000 (I believe this might be slightly optimistic but hey, whats a few tens of thousands)...

Adding the two numbers together we get a total profit of 6,256,746.47

and that means 40% (up 9%) of the earnings revenue is from operations (not bad)...so long as they continue to grow revenue earnings and do deals like the 7.5 million dollar Hasbro deal and the 15 million dollar deal with Net2Phone and acquire profit generating businesses...I don't think they will have a serious problem...of course, they could ask uncle PA for a loan or something... :)

Hope that helps...

Steve

The BIG question is does this mean that stocks sometimes do go down for NO reason? You posted several times before eluding to the fact something is up...we just don't know it yet...so is everything OK now or are you waiting to form your opinion until numbers are out...Just curious...I'm sure the thread would love to know if it's time to buy.
