John, Dell trading up - 44 1/8 bid. Just saw 44 5/16! Was trading up when she reported before 8:30 am also! Makes you wonder what she's looking at? LOL! Cheers, Lee

Looks like it wasn't me...Dell holding in 44 range (so far).....Maria needs to do her homework....the story was old....and certainly didn't merit....lead off...."THIS IS A STORY" status........and the stock was UP, not DOWN in the pre-market...she, obviously, didn't check as she spoke (it did tick down..after she started hammering it)..but not before she said "Dell is down".... Ah, the joys of watching every little tick <G>

JRI, I really believe that Merrell Lynch has lost the confidence of the investor. Maria just read what was reported by ML. I don't recall who it was but right after that there was a BUY upgrade from someone else. ML has been down on DELL for YEARS. ASK WBM. Dorine
