re: QBX

It could go either way

With $1.75-1.80 in assets, .80/share in cash ($28 mill) and looking for tech. deals it probably doesn't have a lot of downside at this point and I would expect the $1-.95 support to hold very well. If you go look at the trades you will find that CC was the player that initial helped drive the price down into the .80's then brokers the PP for insiders and scooped up tons of shares.

I'll be waiting for CC to unload those ~700k shares they are holding from that mid-Dec bottom in the .80's.

CC bought all those shares for an average of .87... knowing CC style I don't think they will just be looking for .25-.30 on the trade. However I agree when CC starts selling like a madman we will have at least a short term top... so far CC is not on the sell. I guess time will tell.

Do you know the size of the float

35 million shares out... around 8-10 mill can be traced but your guess is as good as mine where the others sit. The prez. (Hislop) has been on the buy for the last 2 years without any sales.

Hislop has just under ten per cent of qbx, 3.3 millions of the ~35 millions out.
Holdings by friends and associates can be surmised to some extent, but i don't remember how just now ... keith has posts on that, i'll go get them.

Good point about Canaccord, they may intend to work the stock for a few nickels, i can't see why though, seems to me there's a lot more in it if a story comes along to go with the cash, and stranger things have happened ... this is kind of off-topic, just meant to be a Sunday heads-up, it will be one of a dozen or so i keep an eye on this week .. jdx, sci, pnp, iau, rkr, mmi, lir, azz, tom, gi, dy, hipi being a few of the others ... phpi in some but not all ... i don't post much in trading hours as i don't chase the woodies, mostly wait for them to settle back and calm down ... apres-momo, somebody has to pick up the pieces -g- ... cheers
