08:13 ET Compaq Computer (CPQ) 31 1/4: DLJ upgrades from "market perform" to "buy" and initiates price target of $45 based on new 2001 earnings est of $1.50; believes earnings recovery will be gradual but sequential improvement over the next few quarters will lead to the first positive year-over-year earnings comparison in June.

Compaq on CNBC's watch list for today, they mentioned the heavy volume and rise in it's price on Friday. He went on to say that if it breaks the $32 barrier it could be very positive on the stocks price.
