I have to disagree with you on that. Sybase still beats them (Oracle) in performance and ease of use as it has for a long time.

Oh geez, talk about deja vu, the last time I had this conversation was 8 years ago!

Anyway, the mkt already decided this. Suffice it to say I don't think Sybase beats Oracle in performance (which is one reason nobody runs their erp on sybase) or "ease of use" - although powerbuilder is a nice tool and better than sqlforms, I agree with that.

Eric, I get the feeling you don't like Hoffman but you like you have a grudge. Did you work for Sybase and get the short end of the stick?

You make some valid points. I hope Hoffman has learned from experience.
