PB, Yields may be good but the speed splits are not. If the speed splits were better we would have some high speed systems shipping, a lot more than we see. So even though they are making a good yield there are few fast ones.

Yields are fine Bill.

Yields are fine because the center of distribution (COD) is around 600. This explains the lack of 750+. Have you notice Althon 500 and 550 are missing and AMD is suing those retailers selling overclocked parts? These suggest that the Althon's bottom is 600+. So where do you think the COD for the Althon is? If Intel were to match the same COD as the Althon, I wonder if you would still think the yields are fine?
