<Now, with Merrill's "unlimited advantage" account - why would anyone want to trade with etrade???>

1.) Lower cost. No Fixed $1500 or 1% fee.

2.) Been hung by Merill analyst recommendation many times. Don't like Merrill.

3.) Give them your phone number and you get an unwanted phone call with a useless hot stock tip almost daily.

No patience of Job for this boy--I've tripled my money in 13 months with EGRP; admittedly I'd have done several times better even than that if I'd sold out in April, but I have every confidence that this is a great long-term bet, and a much better one than Merrill, also.

You might have noted that while Merrill's online unit is growing by leaps and bounds, it also is mainly from Merrill customers moving over to it rather than new money coming in. Cannibalizing your own business may make the online unit look good to the undiscerning, but it isn't the answer for long term growth.

The OLBs are out of fashion right now, but with the continued heavy volume that we're seeing, as well as the international expansion, we're going to kick ass in the long-term, and that's all I care about.
