Gasoline Prices: I am taking an informal poll here on SI Drilling to get a feel for prices across the country.

Here in S.C. prices are somewhat reasonable due to lower taxation. I'm now paying $1.38 for regular unleaded, how about you folks? Diana G., hows prices in NYC? Chicago people, California people, how about you? Roebear, what doin' in Pennsy?

Grandma's gettin ready to buy drillers, I can smell it! <g>

Bull, That average UK gas price works out to be USD 5.57 a gallon. I assume that is for an Imperial gallon which is about 20% more than a U.S. gallon. But take off 20% and you still have USD 4.46 per US gallon.

If gas were to cost that in Texas, it would take USD 182.70 to fill up a Suburban. My oh my.
