QS and rest of the gang, go back to my posts about IBM S80
against SUN E10000 a month ago and see if what I was
saying was true.

Well that's either a contridiction to what Ed Zander reported in the last SUNW Q concall (Sun overtaking IBM), or else there's probably like 5 asterixs (asterices?<g>) after it. We know Starfire has ramped and ramped. We know that the Serengetti servers are on deck to replace the Starfires AND these days, the Sun story isn't the papa bear UE10000, it's the mama bear servers at this point. In any case, I'm sure this lights a bit of a fire underneath Sun toward getting those UE12000 out the door and into IBM's face(s). -JCJ

Where does it say how those IBM's were configured? For all we know they could be minimal systems compared to the E10000's.

JMHO.

Look,
As we all know I'm far from being a computer expert....
But common sense I do have. Something here is not right.720 AGAINST SUN'S 255!!!!!
Am I missing something. How were the specs on the servers
configured.
This is a huge disparity.
Frankly I do not believe it. The disparity is just to much.
