Tommaso -

[[...I hope that at some point the response of the United States will be to seek some form of energy independence through a huge initiative comparable to the Manhattan Project or the Moon Landing...]]

How about the indictment and conviction of all the appropriate members of the Clinton Administration? That project should be huge enough for almost anyone, and the sentences could be to serve as the motive force of giant squirrel cage electric generators.

Regards, Don

Great projections. I agree with most of them.

This one I don't quite get-
>4. The dollar will suffer a decline of 20% or more against other major currencies, especially against a stengthening Euro.<

The rest of the world seems to be printing as fast as we are. I say they are all devalued together. The buck should hold it's own, relatively speaking. The U.S.$ is still the world standard, and I don't see what will replace it. The euro? Not likely, with a bunch of socialist spenders. The yen? Not likely while their economy continues to shrink.

I can see gold, oil, real estate, and other hard assets gain against paper, but other paper?

Regards,
Terry

Tommaso:

Loved both the content and the delightful style.

A mere pipeline indeed. (g)
