A few days ago, I mentioned that when one country or region is suffering a downtrend in their markets, another country's markets could be thriving. As it has been pointed out, SEG allows investors to diversify their holdings into other regions of the world. To better illustrate that this is a wise strategy that investors should consider following, I dug in and went looking for information that would support this statement.

Here is a list I found which provides the closing values for the previous month for 40 countries. It allows for a comparison of year-to-date performances for all the world's major stock markets in dollars.

Please excuse the formatting - it took me a long time to try to format this table so that it was at least readable.

<<Once again, SEG's ability to ramp up and add exchanges is not restricted to having to complete all the necessary documentation that brokerage firms have to. Given SEG's business model, as soon as their agreement with an exchange has been signed, then the bulk of their efforts will be to ensure that investors hear about them.>>

Why the agreement with an Exchange...I thought they simply supplied a portal to local brokers, and that I would have to open up an account in each country where I wanted to trade. SEG is not a broker!?

Sorry, but the PRECISE business process still not clear to me...maybe just me. <ggg>
