Just wanted to wish Fred a welcome back. Hopefully VLNC is still a news inspired stock. Unfortunately, Lev runs scared when it comes time to show his investors reasons to stay and Fred you are a glutton for punishment.

I am still long, but growing very weary.

Larry, your predictions about Valence for the past two years have ALL been wrong. Your earlier original response to FMK this morning is full of holes and half-truths which I will respond to later this morning. I'm surprised some of the other longs have not responded to it. To me, you're still just a member of the short coalition with all its attendant hypocrisy and mis-representation. Right now it's breakfast time. (g)

Larry, if I may interject at this point, I'm not sure that your assertion that over a 3 year period the NASDAQ has outperformed VLNC is particularly germane. While it is true that the annualized return of NASDAQ over the past 3 years has been 57.1% through 3/31, the total return of VLNC over the same time period has been 56.27% over that same time period. I certainly wouldn't characterize that as a significant underperformance, would you?

And I also might add that it doesn't really prove much of anything to go dredging up old posts, finding mistakes, and claiming that someone is a deliberately lying. While Fred is definately guilty of being overly enthusiastic about this stock (and I for one think his belief that its okay to margin this stock is total lunacy), and while his predictions of imminent good news of one sort or another based on conversations he's had with different people have generally been wrong, he has been basically correct that the company would be able to create a better mousetrap, build that better mousetrap, and then successfully sell that mousetrap. And before you go making all sorts of assertions about the prospects of the company based on backwards looking SEC documents, wait until the end of the year, and then see how the company looks in terms of balance sheet, income statement, revenue streams, etc., etc. I for one have been in the stock since September, 1997, and am quite frankly delighted at how things have gone. I have, after all, nearly tripled my investment. And I'm quite confidant that, in another 3 years, I'll be able to say the same thing using today's price as the benchmark.

So just be patient, L'il Larr-you'd be amazed at how rewarding that can be.

Larry,

You have the audacity to question the motives, the honesty of Fred and mooter. Just a simple question while on the subject of truthfulness. Do you post on the YAHOO thread and what is your alias? Come on Larry, put your own honesty to the test.

A Larry I bought my first valence shares in Jan 97 ( about 3 years ago ) and am now up %373 since that time. I'm still long and holding. If you want to talk to someone spouting nonsense look in the mirror.
