Ted,

Bottomline: its too bad people don't take him more seriously.....I think he would bring back honor to the presidential office.....something I believe the office desperately needs.

I worked with Gore (and Intel, and National, and Motorola) on a major data security project in the mid 90's. He is probably the brightest politician in Washington about technical issues, but unfortunately there are not that many voters out there who understand technical details.

ted,
Maybe people would take big Al seriously if he didn't say dumb things like; at the budist temple he had drank a lot of ice tea and had to go to the bathroom all day, thus, missing all of the illegal activities.

Ted,

I think he (gore) would bring back honor to the presidential office

If you were comparing pre-1992 Gore with Clinton presidency, I would agree. But I think he has been corrupted. Not corrupt in criminal sense, but in that he has turned into a pure politician and demagogue.

Whatever sense of honor and honesty you might have seen in him in the past (when he himself ran fro president (1988?) is gone (in my opinion).

Ted, surely you jest. Both Al and Bill have done more than any other president and vice president in the last 100 yrs. to discredit the presidency. And now you think he will bring honor to that office. Ive got a tip for you. Both Al and Bill will say anything to get elected. Als new Im gonna clean up government campaign was only started after he saw how well Mclain did with the theme. What would really clean up government is if he left. Politicians who have the moral scruples of a weasel turn me off.
