Eric, As long as it's "Off Topic" day: along with Tae Kwon Do, which everyone thinks they know as it's taught in PE class in Korea. Not only that, but all males have intensive Tae Kwon Do training during mandatory military training following high school. They are all tough Hombres, unlike Japanese and Chinese. Pravin.

I felt completely safe from gun violence in Korea, of course broken bottles and knives where the weapon of choice for crime, along with Tae Kwon Do, which everyone thinks they know as it's taught in PE class in Korea. Eric, And its the lack of feeling safe in this country that bothers me. While I have not been in Korea, I have been in Europe for extended periods and while you may have to worry about being ripped off, you never had to worry about being shot....its a great feeling. One last point, its much easier to kill with a gun than it is with knives, broken glass, even bayonets etc. Sometimes I think we value life here much less than other places. ted
