Exactly. Very few murders, guns or otherwise. People in Toronto are just unlikely to kill eachother so there murder rate will be lower, gun control or not.

OT:NiceGuy I've been to Canada many times, and I love it. The one thing I would have to point out is Canadian culture is so much more friendly too strangers than American's are.

Canadians go out of there way to be nice and helpful, even accept American money at most places. (Try to give a Canadian quarter to someone here in the states and they throw it back in your face)

My point is it's the Canadian culture that is not abusive and rude. I for one believe that is the main reason murder rates are so low, not the lack of guns.

Milo

ng,

Check out Toronto, Canada where guns are not prevalent...Our city of 3.5 million (GTA) will rarely record more than 50 murders (guns or otherwise) annually...Just a great caring cosmopolitan community!

Suppose every adult was handed a gun tomorrow. Do you thing people would start killing each other wholesale (at the US rate)?

Joe
