Dresden is a Deathstar aimed right at Intel. Can you imagine how much money AMD could make in the 4th Quarter this year if it produces more than 10M Athlons? By that time PC magazines will have issued great reviews of T-birds systems and 1.1 Ghz might be AMD's sweet spot.

We should have a vote for favorite statements in the conference call. Here are mine:

"Previously, 25M chips was the target for 2000. This could prove conservative."

Is the 30% unit share goal subject to revision?
-- A: "It's still 21 months away. We're very pleased with the progress we're making."

I think AMD is going to sail past 30 million chips sold this year, and 40 million is not outside the upper range.
