Dear Don: Have enjoyed reading your posts. I am into off roading, have 2 Jeeps and participate in Jeep Jamborees plus have done a lot of off roading all over the USA but I enjoy the West the most. Your setting sounds great to me. JDN

..............OFF TOPIC................................

your neck is sore and so are my wrists so write when you feel better.

You left your other cat in LA, but I don't remember its name. Did you ever hear what happened to it?

I'm not fond of rodents. A rat landed on my head in the middle of the night when we were in Borneo. I screamed! They were everywhere. They ruined a carry on bag and nibbled at our suitcase. The critters ate a woman's lycra suit. You sort of get used to them after awhile. Finally, I complained, and the management put a rat trap in our room. In the morning, while we were off diving, a woman would sweep the room and remove the trap with the rat. After she finished her chores, I suppose she let it loose behind our hut.

When we got back to the city, I found a macroon cookie at a bakery. I put it in a zip lock bag, toted it into the jungle. Somehow tiny ants got into the bag. I blew them away. Then, I ate the cookie! I don't think I would have done that b4. But I couldn't conquer my fear of rat landings on my head so when we were deep into the jungle, I took a sleeping pill at night so I could sleep.

did i ever tell you about the vinegaroons?

No, tell me! I get otd with the computer as well, especially when it is nice outside.
