Could US relations with Cuba be in the state they are because americans in general don't know [don't care?] much about the question and largely leave it in the hands of the South Florida ex-cubanos and their allies in the US interests who recall with enduring fondness their connections with the previous dictator?

The thing that immediately occurred to me when I saw the photos of this "pre-dawn" event was how fully clothed everybody seemed to be.
