. . . a child was kidnapped . . .

There was no kidnapping. If anything the child was rescued from an unhealthy developmental environment. At the worst the law was enforced by the use of necessary force.

Look at the dysfunctional record of these people that he was saved from. I would not wish what was happening there on any child.

It was a far, far better thing that the Government did there than anything they had done to date with regard to Elian. The world was made whole and the tear in the fabric of sanity was put back with a little boy being returned to his father.

Why is it that you right wingers always scramble to stake out the moral low ground? And then defend it so fiercely?

Yogi, you're on to something here. Look at those polls. The "sheeple" actually approve of this kind of raid. What the hell is going on here?

<< The reaction from most to the terrible way a child was kidnapped at machine gun point from his home under cover of darkness only makes me more convinced than ever. >>

That picture, of storm troopers pointing a machine gun at a child and the man who saved his life, will haunt the U.S. for years. Every time the U.S. tries to take the high road at a world conference, that picture will pop up.

Janet Reno and Clinton made a huge mistake by illegally raiding a peaceful, innocent American family's home. The U.S. has not yet begun to realize the harm that has been done.

As you are, I am worried about the support a lot of people give to Reno and Clinton for that monumental gaff.
