The CEO of KLIC just announced his intention to sell a large number of shares. As a back-end company, KLIC will typically be among the first companies to see a hint of order increase or an order decline. So that might be a hint of weakness to come.

Or maybe not. The trouble with insider sales, as an indicator, is that they are not nearly as useful as insider purchases. Maybe the KLIC sale indicates we're not anywhere near the bottom anymore, but it doesn't necessarily say much about where the top will be. Insiders will often sell for various reasons on the way up missing another double or whatever. It might be that the KLIC CEO is selling even without any knowledge of order weakness. If he were buying using cash out of his pocket, OTOH, it would be a sure indicator that he thinks he would profit by doing so.
