Okay John,

So there is nothing in here that would suggest the International Currency balances are setting up to stem the rise of the dollar.

Read some where that deflationary prospects are still very much alive.....!
That this pop in inflationary pressure is temporary, localized to the USA markets, and that most of the world is actually struggling to pay it's bills.

It was interesting article that made sense to me.

I've never felt inflation was very important anywhere..., except localized parts of the USA. Like Boston and Silicone Valley. The whole prospect is over done, but Greenspan is correct in bringing rates back to 6%....!

Chip

John and Thread,

This post of mine on April 19th should be looked at in
conjunction with this new post.
Message 13462767

This new work-up shows a significant change and suggests
that a Bear Market is close to being in place, if not
already in place.

Combined with the "M" patterns on all major Index charts,
these markets are near capitulation. The markets would
have to rally up to above the "V" portion of this formation
to suggest the bear trend has been broken.
Furthermore, the DOW Weekly chart has a classic "M" formation.

Monthly 25/40sma:
