Jdaasoc re: <I finally understood the real reasons. Intel really doesn't have a serious problem with 820 MTH. The only serious problem was the Taiwanese vendors were producing almost 100% of 820 based system boards with SDRAM MTH.>

WOW. That's some theory. Intel messes with it's reputation because Taiwan is producing too many mobo's with Intel chip sets? And I suppose HP is forced to stop producing Kayak work stations because of this same reason? Etc. And I suppose the new MTH they're bring out to solve the problem is a myth? And the suggested replacement's are all SDRAM based? And the BX chip set will probably have even longer extended life. Some strategy that would be. <g>

John:

Hey, that's really clever of you to figure out the REAL reasons behind this fiasco - I think there is a good possibility that you're correct.

ASUSTEK gapped down NT$9 from NT$296 to NT$285 on Thursday. (Its intraday high in April was NT$426).

Today, it closed at NT$278. The 52-wk low of NT$251 is within striking distance. Below that, there is a very strong support at NT$220.
